Trekking through the historic Lebanon Mountain Trail traversing the length of Lebanon is an experience for a visitor or lifelong resident of Lebanon. The trail extends from Andqet in the north of Lebanon to Marjaayoun in the south, a 470-km (292 miles) path that transects more than 76 towns and villages at altitude ranging from 570 meters to 2,073 meters (about 1,840-6800 feet) above sea level. Our adventure includes a fully detailed itinerary including local guides along the way and rustic guest house with authentic Lebanese foods and hospitality. The trail crosses a UNESCO heritage site as well as several nature reserves, biosphere reserve and six important migrating bird routes.

Costs Include:
- Accommodations in Beirut and along LMT
- Airport pick up upon arrival
- Welcome dinner in Beirut
- All lodging while trekking
- All meals while trekking
- Permits and Park entrance fees
- Local guides dependent on sections of each LMT trail segment
Costs Do Not Include:
- Personal items (see Equipment list)
- Wire transfer fee
- Meals in Beirut
- Alcoholic beverages
- Bottled or canned beverages
- Specialty coffee or espresso drinks
- Option to upgrade to single room
- Trip cancelation insurance or the required medical evacuation insurance
- Any costs as the result of an early departure from the program
Cancellation/Refund Policy
- There are no refunds for the deposit or balance payments for this adventure. This includes but is not limited to, expeditions that conclude without reaching or making progress towards expedition objective(s) (for example, the full distance) due to route conditions, weather, insufficient manpower, or any other factor outside the control of MounTurtle.
- Expedition leader has the final say on the expedition conclusion and will make all best efforts towards reaching expedition objective(s) within our margin of safety.
- Participants that choose to leave an active expedition for any reason are not entitled to any refunds
- MounTurtle operated by JOYCE AZZAM, LLC highly recommends trip cancellation insurance for all expeditions
- Due to the nature and heavy costs of government and operator permits, MounTurtle must adhere to a stringent refund policy
- Deposit due with registration materials
- All balances are due 120 days prior to departure date unless otherwise specified
- Participants whose balances are not received by the 120-day deadline as stated above, risk forfeiture of their funds and their place on the expedition

Headwear
- Warm Hat: synthetic or wool hat (ski hat)
- Baseball Cap or other sun hat: to shade your face/neck from the sun on a hot day
- Bandana or Buff: to protect your neck/face from the sun
Eyewear
- Sunglasses: full protection with side covers or wrap around
Gloves
- Lightweight Synthetic Base Layer Gloves: for wearing on a cold day
Footwear
- Hiking Boots/Shoes: comfortable boots or shoes for the trek to base camp
