- Our Hiking Workshops are meticulously timed, commencing and concluding within 15 minutes of the scheduled time.
- Ensure you carry a minimum of 2 liters of water on your back
- The hike typically spans 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the group's pace during flatter sections and needed breaks.
- Our knowledgeable guides will share insights into the local culture and the fascinating wildlife you might encounter.
- You can trust our guides to be equipped with a comprehensive first aid kit, prepared for any unexpected emergencies.
Location and Hike Details:
– Located 1 hour from downtown Dubai.
– The hike is led by our certified mountain guide and it covers a distance of 6 km and takes approximately 3 hours to complete.
– The workshop is led by certified wellness expert Melanie Taylor and it takes approx. 1 hour including refreshments break.
Meeting point: The precise meeting location will be provided to you upon booking your hiking workshop through our service.
What’s Included in the Workshop Fees:
- On arrival, participants will receive Kinetica electrolytes to help keep hydrated.
- Snacks & refreshments will be provided during the hike.
What to Bring:
- A backpack with at least 2 liters of water.
- Sturdy hiking shoes or trail running shoes.
- Don’t forget to wear a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
- Carry a personal health emergency kit, including an inhaler, extra insulin (for diabetics), a sweet sugary snack (for emergencies), and an EPI-Pen (for allergies).
Registration and Waiver:
Registration for the hiking workshop closes 24 hours before the hike begins, ensuring that all participants can sign a waiver covering essential information such as:
- General fitness level.
- Any pertinent health concerns (allergies, heart conditions, diabetes).
- Emergency contact information.
- Permission for us to provide assistance in case of an emergency.
- A liability waiver, acknowledging the inherent risks of the activity.
